Jewellery Care
Every necklace is handmade by me with natural stones, pearls and quality beads, finished with gold details. Because the materials are natural, each piece is a little different, and a few simple habits will keep yours looking beautiful for years to come.
Keep it dry
Take your necklace off before you shower, swim, bathe or exercise. Water and sweat are the quickest way to dull the shine and loosen the gold finish over time, so it is always best kept dry.
Last on, first off
Put your jewellery on last, once your perfume, sunscreen, moisturiser and hairspray have dried, and take it off first at the end of the day. These products can build up on the beads and findings and wear away the finish.
Store it gently
When you are not wearing it, keep your necklace in the pouch or box it arrived in, laid flat and away from direct sunlight. Storing pieces separately stops them tangling and rubbing against each other.
Cleaning
Wipe your necklace gently with a soft, dry cloth to bring back its shine. Please skip jewellery dips, harsh cleaners and water, as these can damage natural stones and the gold finish.
If it gets wet
Do not panic. Simply pat it dry straight away with a soft cloth and lay it flat to finish drying. It is repeated or prolonged contact with water and chemicals, not the occasional splash, that causes wear.
A note on natural beauty
Because your necklace is made with natural stones and pearls, colours, markings and shapes vary a little from bead to bead and piece to piece. This is not a fault, it is the charm of something made by nature and finished by hand. No two will ever be exactly alike.

Handmade jewellery is delicate by nature. Please pop it on gently rather than tugging, and treat it with a little love. Cared for this way, your piece is made to be worn and treasured for a long time.
